GOVERNANCE
The General Assembly – the highest decision-making body of the WSCF – is the most representative expression of the WSCF’s life where the different members and representatives from all corners of the world have the chance to come together to talk about issues important to their activities and to direct the work of the Federation for the next four years. The mandate of the General Assembly will be fulfilled by the elected Executive Committee. The Federation is governed by its Constitution and Bye-Laws ratified and amended as needed by the General Assembly.

Dear friends of WSCF! As we are hosting the General Assembly of WSCF in Berlin in June 2020, we invite you to apply for the steward program.
What is the General Assembly?
The General assembly of WSCF happens every four years, bringing together delegates of 120 movements coming from 94 countries. The General Assembly will gather under the theme “Rejoice in Hope” (Romans 12:12): Young People Journeying Together Towards Justice and Peace.
The illustration in the design shows an entrance of people, based on depictions of the joyous entry of Jesus in Jerusalem. Here, Jesus is depicted as a modern-day worker. In this depiction, however, Jesus is not the only one entering. He is with his youth who are from different sectors: climate justice warriors, indigenous peoples, peasants, LGBT, students, etc. This shows the importance of the role of the youth in bringing peace through hope, justice, and youthfulness. – from the artist, SCM-Philippines member Kjerrimyr Rodrigo Andrés
